Products must be registered with the corresponding organisms and authorized for manufacture and sale, according to their kind.
After the company legalization with ANVISA, CETESB and IBAMA, products are registered and approved with ANVISA, Ministries of Health (cosmetics and personal cleansing, sanitizing and cleaning products in general, medicines and similar, foods and dietetics) and Agriculture (veterinary products: food, cosmetics, sanitizers, medicines and other products, such as vegetal products and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, and the approval of labels and packs).
INMETRO Certificate is requested when the product or pack requires conformity, performance, quality, resistance assays or other evaluations and specifications, as well as bar code requests.
